The Faith and Wisdom to Move Your Mountain
My Grandmother was a beautiful woman. She was strong, intelligent, caring and poised. She was financially sound and a true leader in every aspect of the word. She was also terminally ill as I wrote this book. She and I were never as close as I desired to be. I owed her money and was often too ashamed to face her. I was in a tough situation and needed to purchase a car. My grandmother loaned me $4800. I was able to pay back $3200. But, I failed to pay her the last of it. I remember calling her one day and apologizing. She just told me that I needed to take better care of myself. One of the last things she said to me was that she had to have a different relationship with each of her grandchildren. She had to be a little harder on me I suppose. Growing up, I always managed to be trouble (in trouble, making trouble or just around trouble). That day she also told me to never stop praying.
I have never quite managed to handle my money efficiently. This was a gift I have prayed to God to obtain, “Lord, help me to become a financial genius.” I pray over and over again. I just want to be more intelligent about my money.
As I continued to work on this book, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that Abundance is obtained through faith (in Jesus) and wisdom. That with those two elements, you have enough to move your mountain. In this, we are provided the abundant gifts that God gives us prayer, praise, worship, protection, provision, blessed relationships and more. We are abundantly blessed with many gifts and they all add up to help us remove any obstacle that stands in our way.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
– John 10:10
